For the weekend workshop in Brussels (sonic body), she will focus on how the body is effected by sound, how the body is a sound source and how the body can create and extend moments of tension in a performance setting. She will bring with her sound designs from her colleagues and sound scores she has designed and will encourage dancers/performers to use their voice as a recourse of sound and/or text. Silence, timing and tension will be the key critical areas in this workshop with a high esteem for how the body can lift and drop public engagement when space is treated as a constant recourse for listening.
