Submit your film for Breaking Ground Festival
Are you student in an art/film school? Have you made a masterpiece you would like to show the rest of the world? Do you think your film deserves more attention then it gets? Then submit it to Breaking Ground, because Breaking Ground programs European student films for several festivals en events.
The festival will screen the best of European student films + ...
- a competition for the best works
- debates
- lectures
- masterclasses by European filmmakers
- networking and speed-dating with colleagues and professionals
- student films in student rooms
- music videos accompanied by the bands playing their music
- and, last but not least: parties, drinks and dancing
Please note that Breaking Ground is a platform for European student films. They do not program films from outside Europe or films that are not made within the context of an art/film academy/school.
1. Fill out the online form and print it (http://www.breakingground.eu/submit)
2. Check your printed form (it still needs your signature at the bottom).
3. Include two copies of your film on DVD.
4. Send it to the address you'll find on the printed form.
The date of the festival has not yet been published... they'll keep you updated about it.

Go Short Student Campus 2011
From 15-20 March 2011, the third edition of the Go Short Student Campus takes place.
In cooperation with Go Short, International Short Film Festival in Nijmegen (The Netherlands), Breaking Ground offers European student filmmakers six days of meeting interesting people from all around Europe, the greatest meetings with professionals, the most instructive workshops and the best and unforgettable parties: so lots of inspiration to make a short fiction film!
Date: 15-20th of March 2011
Place: Nijmegen, The Netherlands
Costs: 150 euro's + travel costs (accommodation is then covered)
To apply for the Go Short Student Campus, motivate your application and introduce yourself with a letter and send it, together with your CV to: info@breakingground.eu
